COMPUTER & ELECTRONICS RECYCLING

Thanks to all who made our recent computer and electronics recycling a success.

Good News. Java Journey has decided to continue its recycling program.

Once we open our store we plan to take items there. In the meantime we'll be collecting at two locations:  Newton-Conover Self-Storage at 2423 N. Main in Newton and at the Stewart's home in Hickory.

To arrange a drop off contact  (707) 980-0317 or (707) 980-1783.

For large recyclables we have a suggested donation of $10 per carload. Proceeds help us with our ministry.

See what we take for local recycling.

Don't live in the area but want to help?  We can still take small electronics Nationwide....

Here's how. You can participate anywhere in the  U. S. by collecting used cellphones, ipods, mp3 players, blackberries, digital cameras, pda's, palm pilots and small printer ink jet cartridges. Then mail them in at no charge.

JAVA JOURNEY COFFEE SHOP
where coffee, caring, and community connect

Java Journey, a coffee shop community of Living Hope Covenant Church, provides hope and restoration to the hurting and broken by sharing Christ's story, showing His love and by empowering the restored to serve others. We also serve up a great cup of coffee and other palate delights.

'When are you opening your doors?'  seems to be the most frequent question we hear. We have found an excellent location on North Center Street in Hickory, NC in the former Shade Parlor.

Our lease began on July 1, 2009 and we HOPE TO BE OPEN BY EARLY FALL. We are currently upfitting our facility and are open to all volunteers. Your prayers are also appreciated.
